Literature Text

As I push the button, hang up the phone,
I remember a place, I once called home.
Sure it wasn't the best place or town,
Everything around me, made me frown.
Three years of this, I must have endured,
I felt like a fish, being lured.
Then I met you at that dance,
My mind began to enter this trance.
I wasn't worried, no no no,
For this is the path, I wanted to go.
Miles may lay between us, but have no fears,
Even as your face is stained with tears.
If you ever need to talk, I'm always here,
I'll wipe away every single, last tear.
I've set myself a goal for me,
To keep you forever happy.
If I'm in your future, tell me this,
But if not, then know, you'll always be #1 on my Facebook Fanlist.
The fifth poem in a series a wirote about a girl I love. :D Comment and criticize please but try not to be TO harsh on my bad writing :P
